Information for foreign citizens coming for training to the Republic of Belarus
Visa-free countries
Foreign citizens from visa-free countries of the Republic of Belarus do not need to obtain Invitation and Visa for study. The list of visa-free countries of the Republic of Belarus is available at the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Belarus in your country or on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus

Foreign citizens arriving for training from countries with visa requirement to enter the Republic of Belarus must obtain Invitation to study from the educational institution they intend to study at.
The procedure for obtaining the Invitation to Study
- Fill in the application form (download) and send it to profeduby@gmail.com
- Receive confirmation of consideration of the application form from the educational institution “Republican Institute of Vocational Education”
- Submit the required documents for Invitation to study (see below) to profeduby@gmail.com
- Read the Training Agreement on the chosen programme
- Receive the Training Agreement and Invitation to study after the host country has approved the documents in the Department of Citizenship and Migration (if required)
- Obtain Visa for study at the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Belarus at the place of residence
Documents for the Invitation to Study
- Copy of the document on education with indication of studied subjects and marks (points) received on them.
- Copy of diploma or certificate of advanced training courses, pre-university training department, Russian language preparatory courses, etc. (if available).
- Copy of passport
- Copy of the medical certificate of health issued by the official health care organization of the country the candidate is coming from to study. The medical certificate is valid for a maximum of 6 months from the date of issue.
- Copy the medical certificate confirming a HIV-negative status. The medical certificate is valid for a maximum of 6 months from the date of issue.
- Copy of birth certificate (for minors).
All documents executed in a foreign language shall be accompanied by their translation into Russian. Translation of all documents must be notarized.
The procedure for obtaining the Invitation to Study via mediator
The mediator representing the interests of a foreign citizen must:
- Fill in the study application form at the educational institution “Republican Institute of Vocational Education” (download) and send it to profeduby@gmail.com
- Submit copy of passport
- Receive confirmation of consideration of the application form from the educational institution “Republican Institute of Vocational Education”
- Submit the required documents for the Invitation to study (see above) to profeduby@gmail.com
- Conclude the agreement on admission, referral and invitation to study of foreign citizens with the Republican Institute of Vocational Education
